Riding around during hunting season, etiquette question

My buddy just bought a house in Northern California. The hunting zone for the area is X6A. I am told hunting season starts 1st Saturday of October and lasts 16 days. Wife and I would like to take our ...

I wouldn't worry too much about the etiquette, I would be more concerned about getting shot! Wait another 2 weeks or until after the season ends, then go see his house. Be more concerned about those that shoot, then think about what they are shooting. It happens all the time, so be safe.
