Roadside assistance suggestions?

Been lucky way too long now, on our 4th season with our 5er with minimal roadside problems. One trip left for this year, Thanksgiving in Mark Twain National Forest. This is one of our longer trips (500 miles round trip) and feel it would be wise to purchase some roadside assistance insurance. AAA comes to mind first, then Good Sam Club, what do others carry (if any)? Any pros or cons? Prices comparable? Any and all comments appreciated, Larry
  • We have XtraRide. Only needed it once so far, 930pm on a Sunday on a back road blacktop. They had someone there in 45 minutes and called back to make sure everything had been taken care of.

  • I'd guess that GS and Coachnet are the two ERS used by most Rvers. We've had both, one year we had both at the same time since GS gave us a free year after we bought Coachnet. They are probably the same but the one time we needed it GS told us they could not provide service in that area. That was on an Interstate in Arkansas. But Coachnet had someone there in 30 minutes. One example doesn't prove much but we renewed Coachnet not GS.

AAA usually does not service towed RV's. I don't know if they do Class A and C.
