If you are looking for a brilliant white roof with zero spots...I think you are asking for the impossible. I just washed mine this week with Spic & Span and it cleaned up good enough for me. There was still stains from the A/C runoff from both of the units. There were still some spots from the trees that I was under all winter while in GA. BUT it got 98% of the crud that would have eventually been black streaks. Yes I would like to have it spotless but I haven't found any magic to make that happen. BTW the Spic & Span was what the manufacturer of the roof material recommends. HTH
Any good ideas on how to clean the roof cant get real clean seems to be stained thanks. - Dick_BExplorerDid you search this Forum? It's been discussed before. Try Soft Scrub with bleach and a brush on a stick.
- sk734ExplorerDawn dish doap-works well.
- Splashers3ExplorerPlan on doing the roof this weekend...I just us car wash soap and our soft bristle brush, however, I am thinking of using a stiffer bristle broom and just not pushing it down very hard.
Yes, that is where the black streaks start - which is why I wash the roof 2 or 3 times a year..and use 303 Protectant on it. - GoostoffExplorer

Maybe a silly question, but if it doesn't leak, who cares? Just don't look at it.
Cause that is where a lot of the black streaks start.
I just did mine yesterday. I just went up with a bucket of car wash soap and water, and a $2 sponge mop fron the dollar store. Its not perfect but it is a heck of a lot cleaner than it was. - Chuck_GailExplorerMaybe a silly question, but if it doesn't leak, who cares? Just don't look at it.
- Fire_InstructorExplorerI use basic Spic 'n Span floor cleaner, and a soft bristle brush. Works great!
