Rule of thumb, whoever thumb is! If you feel uncomfortable on the roof, you probably should get professional service.that said, first always wear appropriate foot wear, i.e. Rubber sole shoes that are non slip. Be aware of your sourondings, back front as well as sides. Never stand on a slippery roof. Take your time do not be in a hurry, no shortcuts!
