Is rethreading broken pleated window shades as easy as it sounds ?

I had 3 blinds go bad, I removed them from the wall and found a sticker from a place in Goshen Indiana that was the original Mfg. looked up phone # and called them, Gave them the Numbers on the sticker and they sent me new ones. Originals were 7 yrs old so with the numbers they were able to match them.
