We bought a cover for a rig some years back, we found it took two of us and a 10 ft tall step ladder to put it on, in about 1/2 hour. We also found it took about 1 minute to take off. This was for a rig that was 22 ft long.
We covered it every winter, and took it off in the spring.
Then about 10 years ago we got a bigger rig, and decided that the better solution was steel. We contacted a local RV port installer and haven't looked back.
I would live in terror of trying to cover one your length. Some friends bought a cover of of MH that was 35 ft long and covered it once. Since then they leave it uncovered every year. Boy-oh-boy can it look green from the mold/mildew come spring.
Thank you, I was debating buying a cover for my 40fter. Found one one craigslist cheap. The idea of the green tinge when I pull the cover off just tipped the scale.
Thanks again!
