Yeah, right. Hell, you're in Casa Grande. Head to the store and see how many cars are registered in the lot. I've seen too damn many trucks and cars with no, or stolen, registration to count. Being in Pinal, you don't even have emissions. Add on top of that all the landscaping and farm carts... They can't even stop junk trucks hauling produce in from May-hee-co.

So everybody knows Louisiana now has the inspection law on a rv.
Is it just a safety inspection, tires, brakes, exhaust, lights, etc.?
We've had safety inspections forever, maybe longer.
Just think of all he money you save on heating bills by living in Louisiana. It's time to start spending it. :) - NC_HaulerExplorer

I thought we were talking about 5er inspections.... You seem to be talking about vehicle inspections? Every state I've lived in has vehicle inspections...No TT or 5er inspections in WV, VA or NC...at least, not yet. - darsbenExplorer IIgreat idea all states should require vehicle inspections. - HoustonkidExplorerWe have it in Texas also, always have. I have owned an RV for 7 years and never got it inspected. Well recently Texas has gone to a one tag system. Registration tag will not be issued until safety inspection has been passed. So last month I had my RV inspected for the first time ever.
And that applies to all trailers with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of over 4,500 lbs - RoyBExplorer IIThey inspect all of my trailer safety lights and also that I had a battery connected to the trailer break-away switch...
They also looked at my trailer brake shoes but didn't pull a wheel.
They did all the same things for my truck at the same time which also needed an inspection sticker. The only thing different was they pulled one of my truck tires to inspect the brakes.
This was done at a regular STATE INSPECTION STATION here in Northern Neck VA.

Hadn't heard of a State RV inspection. What do they inspect?
Probably little to nothing; just a way to make money for the state. If they =do= find anything they don't like (not necessarily wrong), you likely have to fix it (at an "approved" facility, probably owned by a group of lawyers or legislators), then pay another inspection fee.
