Renters have rights. You have to use the laws of your state, county, city to evict them. That likely involves eviction notices and court hearings before law enforcement gets involved. You may be able to collect some of their wages later.
Consider getting help because if the process is not done right then you might have to start over. Your main concern is that they don't do substational damage before leaving.
But see if you can work something out first like helping them move etc as this can be the fastest and least expensive method.
