Sailing S637 Comments please

Gents I'm pulling a 14 Cyclone 4018 TH , empty about 15k, GVWR is 18k. I am about to trade out the blow max China bombs and am fairly well convinced that the S637 are the exception to the no-Chinese rule. Question: the TH bounces down the road like a superball now, have any of you suffered a worse, bouncier ride after trading to the S637s from an E rated tire? PS I will be trading 235/80R16 blow ax 80 PSI for 235/85R16 110 PSI 3750# skins. Comments very much appreciated.

Mine rides very well with the Sailuns inflated to 100 psi. I run them at that because it takes a long time for my little compressor to get them up to 110 psi. And I'm only carrying about 12,000 lbs. on my 3 axles.

A bouncy ride sounds like something is way out of adjustment, I've never seen that.

Have you watched your camper while pulling it over concrete expansion joints for example? Ive seen some number other than mine that bounce down the road. I have learned to secure the bikes down really well and to stop and check the load periodically. The garage on these THs bounce A LOT.
  • I went from LRE china bombs to G614's (same thing as the Sailun's but made in America). No difference in ride of the trailer whatsoever.
