Not with this China made tire, It's the ONLY Chinese company that I'm aware of has met TS16949 certification....This is an audit that MY company has every year, (same with Sailun), that covers manufacturing and Quality processes, as well as training records for all, it's a very thorough, intense audit that if you DON'T pass it, your company will be hard presses to compete in a world wide market if customers look at QUALITY built into a product.
These tires cost quite a bit less than the GY G614's, (which I have on my 5er), but as long as the tires keep their TS16949 certification, ( I KNOW what it takes to earn it), and reports are still good on them. Then I will purchase these tires to put on my 5er next time they're due for a tire change...
This is one time that cheaper price means...GREAT DEAL....
