I confess, I did not read every posting on this thread, and hopefully, I can stop someone from buying as a single tire. I have four newer Goodyear G614's on my unit in my signature. I wanted a mounted spare I can carry for a trip to Alaska.
When the tire arrived it was cold and snowy so I didn't get a chance to examine the replacement. When I did, I found the new tire, mounted on a 16" rim was at least a half inch larger in diameter than the Goodyear tire of the same size. It turns out the tread is that much deeper on the Sailun.
I have not heard back from the Big O tire store I purchased the Sailun. I will get some resolution on this matter. A new tire of the same diameter as the Goodyear, or a refund. Please take note, both tires are 235/85R16. and there is no way I would put the Sailun on the ground with the Goodyear. I will say, the Sailun looks to be a good tire, I just don't understand why it is larger. hth david
