Sailun S-637
So I want to get these E rated tires off my new Mountaineer and go with a G rated tire. I had the G-614's on my last 5er but these Sailun tires are getting some good talk... What's up with these tires...

So another question. From what I gather when talking w/ the chap from Sailun the "old" Sailun's were LT rated and I'm quite positive he said the new ones are ST rated.
We can only go by Sailuns new S637 web pages which do not say anything about the 235/85-16 G or any of the other S637 17.5"/19.5"/22.5" S637's being a ST tire. The LT designation has been dropped.
What the new webpage does say is about the S637;
Applications:
Pickup & Delivery Trucks
Intrastate & Interstate Buses
Regional Trucks
Long Distance Trucks
Tractor Trailers
Low Platform Trailers
But Sailun has added a aserisk * for the 16" tire;
* S8244393 * 235/85R16 * 126/123
* All steel construction specifically designed for Trailer application only.
Looks like Sailun may have dropped the LT designation for the 16" G tire probably to compete with the G614 RST "regional service trailer" tire which also is not a ST tire as some folks mistakenly call it.
