I tried the tripod with flat receiver and could not get it to work. Tried the dish receivers on the roof and the could be a pain. Then wine guard carryout came out. Worked pretty good. I've tried Direct, but later went to Dish at home. I don't want to be carrying receiver out of the house so bought a receiver for Dish, and a Tailgator. This is definitely the best for us. Dish has been great to help us. One thing I like they only charge about 7.00 a month on my regular bill to have TV in the RV. Really makes a nice setup. This comes from 11 years of trying different receivers as well as Direct, and Dish.
