Lackawanna State Park is where I would stay. Been there before.

I ended up not making the trip, but I was going to try Lackawanna State Park for a Scranton event. Here's RV Park Reviews listing of campgrounds within 25 miles of Scranton.

Keen lake is really nice, amount a half hour away. Steamtow. Is awesome!

Some nice state parks up that way too.

Clayton Park Recreational Area. Lake Ariel, PA. Stayed here during Italian Festival in Scranton. Very nice place and live entertainment every weekend.
