Another neat feature is they accordion and hold that shape until you stretch it out. That way you can use one very long one for short duty as well.
Must have been some pretty light kids, I only weigh 160 lbs, and mine flattened some ,maybe not pancaked but bad enough that it leaked from me trying to straighten the shape back up . IMO they really are not that great, yes better then the standard hoses. They can be a pain to screw the fittings on. Overall I prefer them to the standard ones, but I think the newer Rhino Extreme will be the better hose, and it will not flatten at all , it appears to have something different then the wire coils inside it like the standard Rhino.
