Sewer Hose

I carry a 20 and two 10's.

I carry 2 - 10ft sections. Rarely use both. I don't usually even hook up the sewer until I'm ready to leave if I only stay 2-3 days. Then if I need to I just back up to reach the sewer. Rather just deal with one stinky hose if I can. No reason to hook the sewer up right away if the tanks are empty..

Buy 3-4 short sections that you can couple together to get what length you need. Personally, I've got probably 40' in the locker, if needed. 4 x 10' sections, IIRC. I don't store them in a pipe or the bumper, I simply couple the 2 ends together and toss 'em in the bottom of the locker. After rinsing with clean water, of course. :-)

We carry 30' three 10' section's

I added a 60" sewer storage pipe under my 4" bumper. I carry a total of 35' of sewer hose that will all snap together. A 15' and two 10' and have used it all.

A pump doesn't alleviate the need for a long hose. Helps if the run is uphill regardless of distance.

I was thinking it would be easier to carry the narrow macerator hose than several lengths of sewer hose.

I have Valterra Viper 15' and a 10' and yes they connect for 25' if needed.

I carry LOTS of hose. I have 2 - 20 footers, 2 - 10 footers, and 3 or 4 shorter ones. I've been in some campgrounds that have had unusual locations for water, electric, and dump hook-ups. I make sure I've covered. Here's an example from my previous camper and my current camper:



This was one of those campsites we were glad we had plenty length of electric cord, sewer hose, and water hose!
