There are many fine hitches out there but most are a solid joint between trailer and truck. Every joule of bump energy the truck creates is transmitted to the 5er and trailer generated energy is transmitted to the truck. My guess is you will have around $150k invested. Why not spend 3 grand for an air hitch and protect your investments? Disregard if you have an air suspended pin box.
