Shopping for first RV...need guidance
My wife and I are going shopping for our first RV. We are going to large camper retailers this weekend just so we can get an idea of what is available. Here is what we know: - We are pretty sure ...

Love the great replies from those who have experience. To answer some of the questions asked in previous posts...
- 6 would include 4 adults and 2 children. Normally it would just be myself, wife and 2 kids (ages 6 and 14). We want to be able to invite others along with us...would not ride in the vehicle but would stay in our trailer
- F250 is a bought and paid for 2014 Crew Cab short bed Diesel 4x4 Lariat
- I have not towed campers but I have towed my car trailer a lot...which is why I bought the truck to start with. Had I been thinking of buying a camper when I bought the truck...I might have gotten more truck.
- I would say the majority of our trips would be within 4 hours of our house...making weekend trips doable. We live in Harpers Ferry, WV. so we have plenty of places we can go that are not too far away.
- From what we have researched so far...I think if we bought a 5th Wheel it would have to be a variant of the bunk house type.
Additional question...is it possible to increase the towing capacity of the F250 by maybe adding some aftermarket components?
