That is one great idea! Only problem with using it on a 5er is you'd have to have an air compressor. Certainly work with Class A diesels though.
As for using helper air bags on a 5er: I've got them on my truck and they do work very well, but I don't think there's all that much travel on a 5er suspension. I've jacked up my Monty twice now and I don't believe there's more than 4 to 6" at most.
