How long does the slide mechanism on a double slide and the motor generally last on most 5th wheels

They should last a very long time, although I have read the Schwintek design can be an issue if it isn't used correctly. Apparently there is a technique to follow when using the Schwintek design slides.
Mine is nearly 10 years old and still works flawlessly, but mine is hydraulic.
