Identify Slide Mechanism

Hi all,

Here's a pic looking up at part of the slide mechanism on my MH. Can someone identify the maker of this thing?

TIA,
Eric

Look around the drive motor for manufacturer information.
I tried that but Dynamax sprayed the motor with undercoating and it's difficult to remove. As a last resort, I'll try that.

You tube has more than one video on identifying them. Here's one

I've looked a several including that one but none have been shown that specific rack and pinion. Thanks, anyway.

It looks similar to a system Newmar made for their motorhomes.
    Yes it does, Thanks.

While it looks similiar it is NOT a Newmar style. The system is currently a LCI(Lippert) supplied system. BTW, Newmar slide systems except for the HWH they use is Patented by Newmar, so not other OEM will be using that system. If you are looking for the Motor/actuator, this link will direct you to just one of your style. Doug

    Thanks, Doug

The system is working well. I just wanted to learn about how it works. I see that actuator running parallel to those tracks.

For instance, at the end of the slide’s travel something makes a rapid thunk, thunk, thunk. I try to limit it to one or two but maybe it’s just a normal sound it makes, like a clutch.

That is exactly what that noise is. The clutch and it is normal. Doug
