While it looks similiar it is NOT a Newmar style. The system is currently a LCI(Lippert) supplied system. BTW, Newmar slide systems except for the HWH they use is Patented by Newmar, so not other OEM will be using that system. The system is working well. I just wanted to learn about how it works. I see that actuator running parallel to those tracks.
For instance, at the end of the slide’s travel something makes a rapid thunk, thunk, thunk. I try to limit it to one or two but maybe it’s just a normal sound it makes, like a clutch.
That is exactly what that noise is. The clutch and it is normal. Doug
