Slidout sticking or shorting out

Twice, once at a camp ground a larg sofa/dineing table slide refused to close. After locating the instructions on manual closing and removing the rubber boot incaseing the motor it closed on it's own. The other time was in my driveway. Again it closed on it's own after I crawed under and checked some conections. Which is the problem. I found nothing that appeared to be loose or shorting out. It has worked several times ok since. Any thoughts on where to look, motor, wiring, the brake release not working, ECT. Thanks

X2. Both times you got it to work you took actions that may have reconnected a loose connection. I would just check them all and make sure tight.

Mine had wire nuts, one had come loose and the other was corroded inside. I stripped the wires to get to clean copper, twisted the wires back together and put on new wire nuts. Has been working great since.
