You're not lost, that's exactly right.

2214 is nada for a 3/4 ton truck. My 1/2 ton is 1712. 502 pounds...the diesel cost you more than dollars.

Your trailer's GVWR is 14,995. I towed that much just fine with my 2009 Chevy 2500 diesel. I just had to add airbags to level the truck is all.

First thing, is that the loaded 5er will have a loaded pin weight of 3000# or more, not 2500#. look at the payload sticker inside the drivers door on the truck. Take the 3000# pin weight plus 200# for a hitch, plus any cargo in the truck plus any passengers beyond the driver. This total weight should be lower than the trucks payload capacity.

A 3/4 ton truck can tow a lot, but the limiting factor is the weight it can carry on the hitch.

You will be over the trucks GVWR but under/right at the trucks RAWR/Tire Load Rating
THOSE are the weight ratings you need to be concerned with

Load truck up now 'Camp Ready' ... you/All passengers/any-all 'stuff' (bags, back packs, containers etc) and HITCH

Go to a CAT Scale and get weighed... $12/15
Then you will have ACTUAL Truck Numbers to work with

A lot depends on exactly how the truck is configured (4X4,4X2, Axle ratio, Tow package?) But roughly you should be good as far as the specs go. But I dont know if I would want to drive it very far. I have had a 7.3 PSD driving on the edge and after having DRW I would never go back.
Truck specs show towing rating of 16100-21700. Carrying cap 3700-3800. Including hitch, tools fuel, dogs, people and anything you load into the Truck
Trailer specs say GVWR 15000 And hitch weight of 2500.
Everything depends on how you are loaded.
So ON PAPER it looks good.

Please give the particulars. Truck max tow, payload etc. Who/what you carry in the truck. 5th wheel weight plus two thousand pounds of water, propane, batteries and stuff.

I’m predicting plenty of power but not enough payload.
