Ok I am very curious what is the deal with the constant comments about sobe bottles? From what I am gathering it is some sort of incendiary device. Is there a place to gather more information about this object I am always interested in new ways to light things on fire or blow things up. Or if this is some kind of secret that is not allowed to be explained? if thats the case thats ok too. Thanks, AJ

So how does one make one of those?

It is only a matter of time before someone causes serious injury or even death with one of those things. Hopefully it will not involve innocent bystanders, especially a child. If you are a bomb-maker have a LOT of liability insurance. You are going to need it.

And a lot of Sobe bottles or the original Mickey's bottles. I would use Mickey's because I would have to get pretty drunk before I do stupid stuff like that.

I think the "bomb" part is getting the attention. The responses are getting even funnier. The thing has 200 views in 30 minutes.

Yeap Brian- there's the proverbial "faart in church" right there! So...in addition to blowing one by in the mine, you stopped off at the Class A Forum and did the same! Good job! :B

Oh and BTW for those who are concerned about the safety- every trip where I've witnessed this, there's been no less than 2 or 3 PROfessional firefighters in the midst, so I guess we can still be concerned! :W :B

That is great. I love all the posts about how dangerous and how if a kid does it and blows themself up they will sue you!!!

Wow... after reading those posts, I'm sure glad that I bought a toyhauler rather than a class A or class C.

Way more fun crowd here...

I used to make sobe torches with the 1.75L absolut bottles, I could only make one about every month or 2. Now that I have a cheap source for the bottles, I'll be lighting up our campsite on a much more regular basis.
