South Dakota License Plates
Can anyone give me any info on the procedure to get South Dakota license plates. Talked to the tax collector in Custer County and she acted like I was bothering her. Thanks Rick

You DO NOT have to live in SD or be a resident. I have registered 2 5th wheels in SD and have a current one registered there now and I live and own a home in Nevada.
SD goes by the weight of the RV. On a new RV. sales tax is 3% plus reg fees.
After said fees, they will mail you the reg and plate.
