South Dakota License Plates
Can anyone give me any info on the procedure to get South Dakota license plates. Talked to the tax collector in Custer County and she acted like I was bothering her. Thanks Rick

BTW - you omitted:
If you can't get back to SD when DL renewal is due, you can extend for up to a year with a phone call.
SD will mail your updated expiration date (to go with your DL) wherever you are.
Also - SD has "NON-commercial" ("Private Truck") registration.
*If* you are in a state which doesn't have that (ex: CA), the $$ saved on annual registration can be substantial..:W
