Spare Tire mtg on Cedar Creek 5th wheel
Looked at my spare tire mount and it sure doesn't look very strong to me. It's under the rear of the camper but the cable extend and retract mechanism looks like it uses two (2) 3/8 sheet metal screws...

I am about to order the BAL Hide A Spare also, probably in the spring. Too cold to lay on the ground right now to install, I should have done that a couple of months ago but being the great procrastinator I am I kept putting it off, but I really want one. :)
