Folks this is the quote in REDFE wants everyone to read.
"Replacement tires must have equal or greater load-carrying capacity by inflation compared to the OE tire as specified on the vehicle’s tire information placard."
My only comment is "SAYS WHO"
There is no regulation or law on the books in either the US nor in Canada that this statement could be based on.
It is simply an opinion or recommendation that Toyo Tires chooses to put forth for whatever reason they see fit.
