A limiting factor will be your ability to maneuver the rig. Often the pads are fine, but the approach and exit will be limiting due to angles, trees, boulders and other obstacles. Most of the more primitive campsites are back-ins, few are wide pull thrus that are often preferred by the larger rigs. The tow vehicle and type of hitch will also need to be factored in. If you need to be dead straight on to hook and unhook the fiver, or you have a double cab long bed stretching 26 or more feet long you might find that many sites won't work even though a longer motorhome or equivalent length bumper pull will work just fine. As others pointed out, there are no single correct answers.
