Step to reach hitch pin

I use a 2 step folding plastic ladder. I stand it beside the rear wheel and reach over to the handle to lock it in place or unlock it. When travelling I put it on the floor in the back seat. When not travelling it goes into the bed of the truck. I also use it when fueling up. I have a 50 gallon aux fuel tank right behind the cab of the truck. I'm 230 lbs and it support this old body.

How do you put the locking pin in????

Had the same issue reaching my B&W handle and pin. I'm 5'7" and 75 so trying to put my foot on top of the tire was not a good solution. I found a tire step on Amazon and it works perfectly plus it folds up and I lay it in the floor behind the driver seat in the truck. Check it out
