steps to the bedroom
What works best for protecting the carpeted steps to the Beedroom/bathroom area? I have tried the clear plastic runners, but the dont cover as much as I would like and dont stay in position.

Protect them from what?
We lived in our 5th wheel for 7 yrs.
Carpet is still in great shape.
We vacuumed every week and once a year had carpet cleaned. Just like we did in regular house.
