steps to the bedroom
What works best for protecting the carpeted steps to the Beedroom/bathroom area? I have tried the clear plastic runners, but the dont cover as much as I would like and dont stay in position.

DW bought a dark brown rubber backed bath carpet and cut it down the middle with the round corners facing out,doesn't slide on the carpet,and keeps the carpet on the steps from being packed down.
