Suburban SF35 no heat

I have worked on this a good part of the day and need help. Suburban furnace model SF35 in a 35 ft Newmar 5er that will not light. I think it tries to light because of a couple of clicks but it does not sound like the water heater igniter. The wind switch and the over temp is good and the motor runs correct. I think it might be the circuit board. Some are replacing board with a Dinosaur 50 board. Does anyone have any help for me? Thanks for any suggestions.
  • 30amp fuse on the batt good?
In the front you will see a thermal switch jump it and see if it works also put test leads accross it if the read all over the place readings your board is bad.
You are getting propane at it right?
  • Yes 12 volts to the heater. Fan is running and making the air switch. The thermal switch you talk of is the overheating one, is that correct? I will meter there and you say if the reading is not stable the board is bad. Thanks for your reply.
  • I've had luck with working the wire connector on and off the igniter board a few times. And, if you have some contact cleaner, use it there. Improving the flame sense connection has worked for me. Same with WH.
  • Did you clean it well? Mine did not work until I removed it and shook out the cooked ladybugs that would not blow out. Also check for cobwebs.
