Superglide 3300

I am purchasing a 2006 Forest River Grand Surveyor hopefully this weekend. Well at least putting a deposit on it at the dealer. My pull truck will be a 2013 F-350 6.7 diesel with the 6.5' short bed.

Anyways, I been told I don't "need" a sliding hitch but rather be on the safe side. I have found some nice condition Superguide 3300 16k hitches on craigslist for 350-450. My question I can't find is brackets for under my bed. I really would like to use the custom brackets maybe by reese or curtis so I am not drilling into my frame. Is this possible with this hitch? I have seen conflicting information online. And information on the Pull-rite website is not great due to the 3300 has been discountinued for newer model. Thoughts?
  • Pull right is very nice to deal with. I'd call them. They would have exactly what you need. Do it right and have no more worries.
  • I have the 3300. 9 years old and moved it from my 04 F-350 to my 15 F-350 last year. They have an underbed rail kit that didn't involve drilling (other than the holes in the bed). I don't think it pops right up, but they have it. It was a pretty easy install. While you can purchase from them, I ended up buying it off Amazon.

This is what you need: Part number 4425 - superrail mounting kit. It was about $300 on Amazon and came with all the hardware you need.
  • Our friends pulled a Grand Surveyor for a while. It was a 25' one as I recall. He had a 2001 F-250 diesel short box and a slider hitch. He backed in without sliding and it cost him a rear window. Not sure of the shape of his vs the new ones but he really did need the slider.

Call Pullrite. I had the same issue. They directed me to a no-drill mounting kit that wasn't on their website.
  • I would give Pullrite a call and ask for their assistance, they were extremely helpful the 2 times I've called in the past.
