Superglide owners that use Slip Plate spray

I'm in the process of converting from the messy lithium grease method to Slip Plate graphic spray. I have disassembled the hitch and thoroughly cleaned the way tubes and everything that comes in contact with them with degreaser and even sanded down the tubes to smooth them out. I sprayed Slip Plate on the top and inside surfaces of the way tubes. Before I put it all back together, is there anything else I should do while it's apart?

Also, how often do you have to recoat the way tubes? Every trip? Each leg of a trip? Every XX miles?
  • The bearing looks pretty good and spins freely. Should I hit it with some dry lube?

I coat the tubes whenever I see parts that have slip plate worn away... i just carry a can in the camper with me. It sounds like you have the process down, while it is apart, you may want to check the bearing on the roller tube... make sure it looks and feels fine. .
