I've had my 2010 Keystone Fuzion since new and used the EZ-Lube feature. I pulled the brakes last year and everything was fine.
When you do it the first time, you'll use about 1/4 of a tube of grease to get fresh grease out the end of the axle. Not exactly a "ton of grease".
But in the end it's all in what you feel comfortable with.
