When you do it the first time, you'll use about 1/4 of a tube of grease to get fresh grease out the end of the axle. Not exactly a "ton of grease".
But in the end it's all in what you feel comfortable with.
So do you just stop when you start to see grease come out the end? When you hear popping just stop as this means the grease is going out the rear bearing seal?
