Correct so far. Now that used grease you just saw is from the outer bearing, so just pump away till the used grease from the inner bearing flows out thru the outer bearing. Just kidding of course, as the whole idea is pretty much a joke and bearing service should be the same as it has been for over a century.

In Pennsylvania the state inspection stations annually pull one drum from each axle to inspect the brakes, can you imagine the mess with all that wasted grease in the hubs?

Since bearings, brakes and magnets wear and fail with the timing being determined mostly by luck, I simply do it after the inspection station messes up the bearing adjustment, strips the wheel studs, damages the seal and adds incompatible grease to what is there. This time I am not kidding, all of this happened.
