Please show me a car produced in recent history that has bearings with separate seals, drum brakes, electric magnets that wear and the cheapest imported parts available. I have experienced all kinds of failures with these cheap mechanisms and will never promote lack of maintenance as a proper course.
Here is just one bearing that was completely covered with grease that was gray from steel wearing off the ridge caused by improper grinding.
