Tear in rubber roof

I did that a couple of times on my previous fiver. I once ripped the roof along the edge of the plywood sheeting on some low trees. Anyway My first patch happened when the rig was about a week out and was still intact 11 years later when I sold it. Clean the spot with mineral spirits you can get low odor type. Use a good silicone under the earthbond. Then put down the tape and smooth it out. Then apply a good silicone around the edges of the tape. You can use dicor or a high quality silicone and if it is getting ready to rain use a quick dry one. We still camp in state and fed parks but my unit has a fiberglass roof. I may get some scratches but no tears. Good luck and you will probably do it again.
