Thanksgiving
Seems like our next trip is Thanks giving. Might end up in Hungry valley or Dove springs. Anybody who wants to join Us is welcome. Most likely it's going to be just us.

Thanks everyone for all the info, thanks Nayther also for emailing more great directions and staging area. Everybody safe travel and enjoy Thanksgiving. If anyone is in the area stop by would like to say we would have plenty of beverages but I don't drink and my wife drinks a few, plus it's only going to be the 4 of us this year .
Nayther is a great guy and he knows all the best spots. I'm glad he hooked you up.

Well before Charlie's place just over the train tracks if you look to you right theirs some areas to camp as well. You just can't see them from the road because it goes up and over into a small valley so if you drive slow you can see the the entrances sorry I don't have mileage or GPS at this time but if I find it I'll post it.
That area's closed now. It's a preserve for wild dogs.

Wagon wheel Aka Charlie's place is easy in, easy out. You camp among cool rock formations just off Trona road. Cell service is good too. I'd go there, it's a really neat spot to camp in.
wagon wheel will get packed in fast, IF you can get there early its an excellent spot.
Easy to find Trona rd. / Stevens mine rd. is very close to wagon wheel and easier to find a spot.
