And you are correct, that weight of a 5th wheel does not justify (financially) a diesel. As usual, this will ultimately turn into a diesel/gas debate started by a few select diesel owners.

X2, I could not agree more! If there is a second trip to Kissimee set your cruise control on 62*, more on that, and let your computer, which controls both theengine and transmission do its thing! Will you double your millage? NO, but I would bet you a dinner at Golden Coral that you would get better millage. *I used 62 as an example, that may or may not be your ideal speed towing your rig. You may have to experiment a bit to find the "sweet" spot for your set up. Between the sweet spot and leting your computer control the rpm's you should see an improvement. Good Luck and enjoy!
