I don't believe the reference was that a 1/2 ton Couldn't do it. I believe the reference was "You Shouldn't do it"
I see 5th wheel trailers pulled by 1/2 tons quite a bit.
yes they can pull it,, but Its not something I would do for any length of time!
Matter of fact when i made the mistake of buying my F150, the sales guy said "Oh Sure these will be great to pull a 5th wheel with,,,Your just going to need a really good hitch and have it set up properly"
he never once mentioned that you will NEVER be able to take any of your belongings with you because you will have MAXED out the payload!
