I live in pa and have my truck and fiver registered here as well. Just bought the fiver so I don't know what the dealer registered it for. I do know my truck is registered by weight class. Class 1-5 I believe. This is the first time I have ever heard of registering for your gross combined weight. New or this pertains to commercial vehicles only!
