Tire advice needed,long trip planned

IMO if you use a TPMS with good tires you're more likely to reap the benefits. Most of the cheap ST China made ties blow out with very little warning, so the TPMS doesn't necessarily do much good, but it will tell you when that tire has blown so you don't have to depend on someone waving you down to tell you that you have a flat.
