Replacing my bombs on my trailer today with Bridgestone Duravis R250s and had a chance to look and compare both tires unmounted side-by-side. Absolutely no comparison. Weight and sidewall thickness of the LT over the ST is dramatic. I don't see how anyone could defend an ST tire after comparing side by side to a good LT.
Good choice with the Duravis R250... those tires will do the job easily,no more worries.
In an earlier post I commented on comparing the tires side by side,if more people would do the hands on comparison you did we would have less people defending these cheap inadequate tires.
For me ST meant Sure Trouble & Short Term
On the other hand the Sailun St is a heavy duty high quality manufactured tire totally different than the cheap light ST's.The Sailun's have excellent performance reviews and I will definitely consider them when I need new tires in a few years.
