A 3 inch nail at speed will go through the tread and out the sidewall of either tire....
Weight is no guarantee of durability.
I was referring to the touting of sidewall strength of the ST tires as a asset, and the fallacy of that statement, IMO, compared to other tires. Seems to me the more flexible a sidewall is the more it will move around and build up heat while moving down the road. Not a plus in my book.
