Can anyone offer any advice on how to proceed without replacing rims as well? The unit has Carlisle on them now and seeing the tread separate from the tire makes me believe they are re-treads. Not ideal.
I have been where you are. Considering the size of your rig I would really consider going to a 16" wheel and upgrading tires to at least an "E" rating and as mentioned earlier, run the max air pressure (80lbs). There are several threads that talk abour the smaller D
rated tires failing on these big haulers. Peace of mind;)
