Hey everybody, I'm digging up an old thread of mine as I'm finally ready to buy. Intent was to replace the tires last fall but winter came quick and ended up waiting.
Looks like the XPS is an extremely tough tire to find. I can however; source the Bridgestone R250 and was sure that was the way I was going until I called to place the order. The guy I was chatting with was cautioning me stating that a sidewall in a radial is designed to flex hence the much lower load index to that of a trailer tire; he threw out Maxxis as the trailer favorite. Just need to hear some reassurance from the experts here. My reason for the investment is due to a blow-out last year; I do not want to go through that again.
